EAR ACUPUNCTURE
WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

Overview of Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture Program

The acupuncturist creates a treatment protocol using reflex acu-points on the outer ear. Acupuncture needles are then inserted in the outer ears for a 45 minute treatment at the clinic. Some of the most effective acupuncture points that I use for weight loss treatments are included below.

     Auriculotherapy Prescription:

  • Adrenal and Ovary - if weight gain is due to menopause or P.M.S.
  • Brain and Brain Stem - for nervous addictions and habitual cravings
  • Endocrine - for water retention that's responsible for some of the weight gain
  • Hunger Point - for general appetite control
  • Lung - for food addicts, and people who love chocolate, sweets
  • Kidney - for water retention, and nervous system and hormonal imbalances
  • Mouth - for the impulsive eater who may also smoke a lot and talk a lot
  • Shenmen - a calming point, for the psychology overlay for anxiety, anger, frustration, insecurity
  • Spleen - for sugar imbalances and hormonal disturbances
  • Stomach - for the person who eats even after they're full or who's constantly nibbling
  • Thyroid - for a sluggish metabolism
  • Zero or "Hot" Point - useful for "resetting" the metabolism, especially for the first 1-3 treatments
