Healthcare Treatments and Services

Traditional Asian Medicine is comprised of highly organized systems of treatment principles — there is not a specific technique that is better or more effective than another.

It is important to understand that throughout its long history, Asian Medicine has not been considered as a specific technique, but rather a curative principle used to balance and heal the human body and human living systems. These principles also complement the goals of Western medical professionals--this allows effective integration and cooperation with other health care providers.

In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), for example, acu-points and meridians on the body can be balanced by a number of different methods to restore and maintain health conditions according to the root cause. By treating the cause and not just the symptoms, the body can function more efficiently ensuring better health. Some of the modalities incorporated in TCM include: acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, moxibustion, qigong and tui-na massage.

Acu-Therapy includes any of the following treatment methods as a comprehensive service which includes (1) health intake, (2) exam, (3) assessment, (4) treatment and (5) the optional formulation of a Medicinal Herbal Nutrition prescription (refer to other side), together with an ongoing treatment plan. The following therapies may be combined for increased therapeutic effect:

Demonstrations, lectures, workshops and seminars on
